About
Play Civilization VII as the Star Wars galaxy. Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga brings its heroes, art, lore, voices and music, all read from your own copy of the game.
What you get
Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker as new leaders, with Galactic Battlegrounds' portraits, names and biographies on the loading screen.
Six Star Wars civilizations in a story arc across the three Ages. Each civ unlocks the next one in its line, and you can also cross between the two lines:
Old Republic, then Grand Army of the Republic, then Galactic Empire.
Jedi Order, then Separatists, then Rebel Alliance.
Every civ is complete: a civ ability, a unique unit, a unique quarter made of two unique buildings, its own civic tree, and two traditions (policy cards):
Senate District, Temple Precinct, Kamino Facility, Foundry World, Imperial Center and Echo Base.
Every building uses its Galactic Battlegrounds art.
Unique units: Jedi Knight, Jedi Master, Clone Trooper, Battle Droid, Stormtrooper and Airspeeder. Each uses its Galactic Battlegrounds icon, name and unit lore.
Galactic Battlegrounds planets as your city names, for example Coruscant, Naboo, Kashyyyk, Geonosis, Hoth and Yavin 4.
The sound of Galactic Battlegrounds:
Your faction's narration plays as the game begins.
GB's soundtrack replaces Civ's music.
Your units answer in GB's voices when you select and move them.
Playing together
Host or join through Civilization VII's own Multiplayer menu, up to 5 players in a game that starts in Antiquity. Every player needs this mashup and both games.
Requirements
Sid Meier's Civilization VII (base game; no DLC needed).
STAR WARS Galactic Battlegrounds Saga.
Nothing from either game is included in the download. A small companion program reads Galactic Battlegrounds from your install each time you play, and starts Civilization VII for you.
Fan-made and free. Star Wars and Galactic Battlegrounds belong to Lucasfilm; Civilization VII belongs to Take-Two Interactive and Firaxis Games. Leaders appear in 3D as base-game stand-in models, because new 3D leaders can't be made without Firaxis's art tools.
