Play Minecraft as Sonic, Tails or Knuckles from Sonic Robo Blast 2. Their sprites, sounds and HUD come straight from your own SRB2 install.
How it plays
- SRB2 momentum: build up speed, skid when you turn hard, and jump much higher than Steve, curled up in a ball.
- Spin (Sneak): roll while running, or hold it while standing to rev a spindash.
- Jump again in the air: Sonic thoks, Tails flies (hold Jump) and Knuckles glides and climbs walls.
- Spindash smashes through blocks in front of you, but never the ground under you.
- Jump or roll into any mob to hurt it, the same way you pop badniks.
- Rings show up in lines, arcs and circles around you. Getting hit scatters them instead of hurting you. With no rings, you take normal damage.
- Springs and speed boosters launch you across the landscape.
- Badniks roam the world: Crawlas crawl after you and Buzzes dive at you. Spin or jump into them to pop them.
- Find the seven Chaos Emeralds hidden in the world using SRB2's emerald radar. Then collect 50 rings and spin in mid-air to go Super. Rings drain while you're Super.
- No fall damage while you're playing the character.
- SRB2's zone music (Greenflower, Techno Hill, Deep Sea and more) plays alongside Minecraft's soundtrack, and the Super theme plays while you're Super.
It's still Minecraft survival: mine, build and craft. Press H to switch between Steve and your character, and J to change character.
Controller support: left stick moves, right stick looks, A jumps, X spins, RT mines, LT places, LB/RB change hotbar slot, Y opens inventory, Back switches to Steve and the D-pad changes character. Menus work with the stick and A/B.
Single player. Needs Minecraft: Java Edition and Sonic Robo Blast 2 (2.2, free from srb2.org). Sign in to Prism Launcher once on first start.
