Play VALORANT's buy-and-plant rounds on Counter-Strike 2's Dust II, solo with 4 bot teammates against 5 bots.
What's in it
- Dust II from your own CS2: the real map, textures, collision, spawns, bomb sites A and B, buy zones and CS2's own bot navigation mesh, read from your install on first launch.
- CS2's agents (Phoenix attackers, SAS defenders) with CS2's run, walk and crouch animations, CS2's C4 as the spike, and CS2's gunshots, footsteps, hit, bomb, announcer and music.
- VALORANT's full arsenal: Classic, Shorty, Frenzy, Ghost, Sheriff, Stinger, Spectre, Bucky, Judge, Bulldog, Guardian, Phantom, Vandal, Marshal, Outlaw, Operator, Ares, Odin and the knife, by name, at VALORANT's credit prices, with VALORANT-style damage by range, fire rates, magazines and wall penetration. Each one looks and sounds like its closest CS2 gun: the Vandal is CS2's AK-47, the Phantom the M4A1-S, the Operator the AWP.
- VALORANT's round rules: a 30-second buy phase behind a barrier, light and heavy shields, credits for wins, losses (with loss bonus), kills and plants, a 45-second spike, a 4-second plant, a 7-second defuse with a half-way checkpoint, sides swap after 6 rounds, first to 7.
- Easy, normal or hard bots that buy, take sites, plant, hold, rotate and defuse.
Controls: WASD, Shift walk, Ctrl crouch, Space jump, mouse fire/aim, R reload, 1/2/3 weapons, B buy, E plant/defuse, Tab scores.
Good to know
- Needs Counter-Strike 2. The first launch takes about 2 minutes to read Dust II, the guns, agents and sounds from your CS2 (about 1 GB, kept in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\SpikeStrike). Nothing from CS2 is shipped, and CS2 itself is never started or changed.
- VALORANT is the inspiration only. Its game files are encrypted, so none of its models or sounds are used, and you don't need VALORANT installed.
- Single-player, offline.
