Red Alert 3's Soviets march into 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far. Take the Soviet slot in a skirmish and play them against the AI, with their real buildings, units, cameos, names, stats, voices, animations and support powers.
Built from your own games. Nothing from either game is in this download. When you press Play, Soviet March reads your Red Alert 3 install and builds the mod into 9-Bit Armies (a few seconds, only when something changed), switches it on, and starts the game.
What you get
- Base: Construction Yard, Reactor, Ore Refinery, Barracks, War Factory, Super-Reactor, Airfield, Battle Lab, Vacuum Imploder.
- Army: Conscript, Combat Engineer, Tesla Trooper, Ore Collector, Hammer Tank, Apocalypse Tank, Kirov Airship. Infantry move with Red Alert 3's own animations.
- Support powers: the Vacuum Imploder, plus a choice after the Battle Lab: Magnetic Singularity or Orbital Drop protocol.
- Red Alert 3 unit voices and Soviet announcer lines for construction, and the hammer-and-sickle emblem in the lobby.
- Red Alert 3's prices, health, damage, range, speed and build times, scaled to 9-Bit's economy, and its tech tree.
Known limits
- One of Magnetic Singularity / Orbital Drop per match (9-Bit's command bar has two power buttons). Both use 9-Bit's Shrink Ray effect for now.
- Some announcer lines (low power, unit lost) are still the Sentinels' voice; vehicles don't animate tracks yet; no Red Alert 3 music yet.
Needs 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 on Steam. Turn the mod off from 9-Bit Armies' Mods menu.
