About

Be Sonic in Minecraft. Open a world and you are the real Sonic from Sonic Frontiers: his model, colours, animations and sound effects come straight from your own copy of the game every time Minecraft starts.

What Sonic can do

Run: about twice as fast as Steve, straight up one-block steps, and he sticks to the ground down slopes instead of tumbling.
Boost: hold sprint and he speeds up to around 35 blocks a second, with his Frontiers boost animation and sound. Bumps don't break it.
Spin jump: a higher jump curled into his spin ball, keeping his speed through the air. No fall damage from normal heights.
Homing attack: press jump again in the air and he dashes into the nearest mob in front of you (4 hearts), bounces off and can chain into the next one. No mob in front? It's an air dash.
Spin dash: hold sneak while standing to rev up, let go to blast off in the spin ball and bowl mobs over.
His real Frontiers sounds: jump, boost, homing attack, hits, spin dash, landings and footsteps that change with the ground (grass, dirt, sand, snow, stone, water).
His real Frontiers animations for standing, walking, running, boosting, jumping, falling, crouching and getting hit.
V switches between Sonic and Steve. The camera moves behind him.

Good to know

Needs Minecraft: Java Edition and Sonic Frontiers (Steam) installed. Nothing from Sonic Frontiers is included: the mod reads Sonic from your install.
Comes with its own Minecraft 1.21.1 (Prism Launcher, Fabric, Java 21); you only sign in with your Minecraft account.
Single player.
