RoadCraft-inspired grading on SnowRunner terrain, with three-player co-op.
SnowCraft Field Work is an early playable prototype for driving and grading a small, sampled terrain section inspired by SnowRunner maps. It uses original procedural grader and truck models, with custom RoadCraft-inspired grading and vehicle handling.
The prototype reads height data from the player's installed SnowRunner files, local RoadCraft grader settings, and tuning values from local SnowRunner mod vehicle XML. It does not use either game's native physics engine, and it does not include game or mod assets.
Up to three people can play in a session: one host and two friends. The host starts the game through Melty and shares the invite link. The session ends when the host closes the game. A two-copy local connection test passed; a friend joining from another PC still needs to be tried. Remote joins depend on Melty's relay being allowed by each player's network.
Everyone needs their own installed copies of SnowRunner and RoadCraft. Melty starts the prototype and passes each game folder automatically.
The terrain is sampled from a height map; roads, buildings, trees, water, and original map materials are not loaded. Vehicle models and physics are original placeholders. Local mod support uses tuning values only, not mod meshes, textures, or sounds.
The project is organized so more vehicle systems, terrain tools, co-op features, and mission content can be added later.
The project's code is MIT-licensed and its original procedural art is CC BY 4.0. The included Godot runner has its own notice. SnowRunner, RoadCraft, and third-party mod assets remain under their owners' terms and are not included; each player uses their own installed game data.
