Press Site-19 on Minecraft's title screen and wake up in a Class-D cell. Every breach is a new facility planned the way SCP: Containment Breach plans its maps, built block by block from the game's own rooms, textures and lights: Light Containment, Heavy Containment and the Entrance Zone, joined by their checkpoints. Find keycards and get out through Gate A or Gate B.
What's in it
- SCP-173, with its own model and sounds, moves only while nobody sees it. Blink (SCP:CB's blink meter is on screen) or look away and it is on you.
- SCP-106 rises out of the floor, walks through walls and drags you into his Pocket Dimension. One corridor leads back out.
- SCP-096 sits crying in the server room. See its face and, after 18 seconds of screaming, it charges through any door at everyone who saw it.
- SCP-049, the Plague Doctor (new in 0.1.2), waits at the bottom of his chamber's elevators. Step into Heavy Containment and he rides up and comes for you: he turns up out of sight a couple of rooms away, follows you through plain doors, mutters while he searches and calls out when he sees you. His touch kills, and whoever he kills rises as SCP-049-2, a shambling zombie that hunts the rest of your team. Two more lie in his chamber.
- Heavy Containment's pit rooms, catwalks over the pits, and SCP-035's chamber with its observation and containment doors, placed where SCP:CB puts them (new in 0.1.1).
- SCP:CB's doors, door buttons and keycard readers (levels 1 to 5), with the game's sounds and messages.
- SCP:CB's items: keycards, eyedrops, the gas mask, the S-NAV 300 (a map of your facility), first aid kits and SCP documents you can read.
- Minecraft tools too: facility walls break by hand, so you can barricade a door or dig around a locked one. SCP-106 doesn't care.
- Gate A (new in 0.1.3): a second way out, with SCP:CB's showdown on the surface. SCP-106 rises in the courtyard while Apache helicopters circle and the H.I.D. turret drives him back into the ground - then the helicopters and the MTF turn on you. Make it down the tunnel: at its end it comes down to luck. The more health you have left, the better your chance of getting away with the Chaos Insurgency and winning the breach; otherwise the MTF capture you and you're out.
- Gate B: the level 5 gate, the elevator up and the walkway out. One escape wins the breach for everyone, then a new facility is built.
- SCP:CB's music, alarms and sounds throughout.
Play together: your breach opens to friends by itself. Up to 8 players join from Melty with one click (no port forwarding). One life each: the dead watch until the next breach.
You need Minecraft: Java Edition and SCP: Containment Breach Multiplayer (Steam). Nothing from SCP: Containment Breach is in the download: rooms, models, textures, sounds, icons and documents are read from your own copy. Sign in to the bundled Prism Launcher once on the first start. Blink key: B.
