Minecraft world, Postal Dude, and 38 POSTAL weapons
Play the complete Minecraft Survival world as the original POSTAL Dude. You start without weapons, build and explore the world, and craft POSTAL weapons and their ammo yourself. Inventory, mining, building, enchanting, and farming are all still available.
38 POSTAL weapons and variants affect Minecraft mobs and terrain: firearms, launchers, explosives, gasoline, flamethrowers, tasers, biological weapons, melee weapons, and throwing blades. Bedrock remains protected. Recipes are available for all 13 ammo types, along with original models and matching weapon descriptions. Reloading with R preserves each weapon's ammo; in Creative mode, ammo is unlimited.
New in 0.1.9: Shooting, melee, and throwing actions are also animated in third-person view. Weapons follow your hands while running, sneaking, and jumping still work. Full-auto fire and the existing secondary attacks are also supported. The body animations come from your POSTAL 2 installation; the three adjusted secondary attacks use matching existing original animations.
Left-click triggers the primary action, and right-click triggers the existing secondary action. Hold left-click for full-auto fire or repeated melee attacks. Press R to reload. With the sniper rifle, right-click to zoom; the gas can pours with left-click and ignites with right-click. Regular Minecraft items retain their usual functions. Weapons and ammo have original models in first-person view, third-person view, the inventory, and the hotbar.
Single-player. Requires Minecraft: Java Edition with your own account and an installed copy of POSTAL 2. Melty sets up a separate Minecraft 1.21.1 instance; Prism Launcher and Java 21 are included. The first time you use it, you'll sign in with your Minecraft account. Original models, textures, animations, and sounds are read directly from your POSTAL 2 installation while you play and are not included.
