Pilot Warfare

Become a Titanfall Pilot in Garry's Mod, carrying guns from two games.

What you get

• M4A1 from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019): the real model and textures, loaded from your own Modern Warfare install. Hip fire, aim down the iron sights, recoil and reload.
• R-201 Carbine from Titanfall 2: the real model, texture and sounds. Its damage, fire rate, clip size, zoom and reload time come straight from Titanfall 2's own weapon script.
• Pilot movement for everyone: wallrun with the camera leaning off the wall, wall-jump, double jump with Titanfall's jump-jet sound, and no fall damage.
• The Pilot grapple: three charges, hold to reel in, with Titanfall 2's own cable and sounds.
• Play together: host a Garry's Mod game and friends join as usual.

Everything is in the spawn menu under Weapons > Pilot Warfare.

What you need

• Garry's Mod
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) (Battle.net or Steam), for the M4A1. Its gun sounds are in Modern Warfare's multiplayer content; with only the campaign installed, the M4A1 fires silently.
• Titanfall 2 (EA app, Origin or Steam), for the R-201, grapple and Pilot sounds.

No content from either game is in the download. When you press Play, Pilot Warfare finds both games on your PC and builds what it needs from your own copies (about a minute the first time, then only after a game update). If a game isn't installed, it tells you in game and leaves that gear out.

Playing together

Host from Garry's Mod's main menu (Start New Game, choose a player count, tick Peer to peer). Friends then join from Steam with Join Game on your name. Every friend needs Pilot Warfare and their own copies of the games.
