Oh Deer Craft

Oh Deer's hide-and-hunt round, inside your Minecraft world.

One friend is the hunter. Everyone else is a deer, hiding in a herd of AI deer. Act natural... but keep eating mushrooms, or you'll get so hungry you stand up on two legs and give yourself away.

What's in it

• Oh Deer's own deer, with its walk, run, graze, stand-up and fart-glide animations, plus Oh Deer's bow, arrows, mushrooms, sounds and music. They're read from your own Oh Deer install when Minecraft starts. Nothing from Oh Deer is shipped.
• Oh Deer's rules: its hunger speed, eating time, deer walk and sprint speed, 3 arrows that recharge every 3 seconds, and mushroom respawn times.
• Type /ohdeer start in any world. A fenced arena with 24 AI deer and 14 mushrooms appears around you (and is removed afterwards).
• Deer: right-click near a mushroom to eat, G to fart-glide, R for deer sense (mushrooms glow for you only).
• Hunter: 15 seconds blind while the deer hide, then a bow with limited arrows. Shoot the wrong deer and that arrow is gone.
• /blick: get a Draco with infinite ammo. Hold right-click for automatic fire; one hit drops any deer. (Deer can't use items during a round, so it's the hunter's secret weapon.)
• The deer win if any of them survives 5 minutes. The hunter wins by catching every player deer.
• Play with up to 8 friends: Melty gives you a join link. Alone, you get a practice round as a deer.

You need

• Minecraft: Java Edition. Melty sets up Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric for you.
• Oh Deer on Steam. If it isn't installed, the game tells you, and deer show up as plain blocks.

Credits

A fan mashup. Oh Deer belongs to its developers, and Minecraft to Mojang. The Draco model is the mashup's own.
