Nightmare Raid is a solo Ready or Not raid with your AI squad. As the mission progresses, REANIMAL's island seeps in, using REANIMAL's own sounds and art read from your copy of REANIMAL. Progress means:
suspects arrested or neutralized;
civilians secured;
evidence collected;
people reported to TOC.
The dread meter
Mission progress drives a dread meter through five stages: Calm → Unease → Dread → The Island → Nightmare. The last rooms are always the worst, and the island never retreats.
What the island brings
REANIMAL's soundscape under your raid: hollow-tree and orphanage ambience, then its title theme, then the Skin Room and Horridor loops, then its chase music.
Phantom footsteps and whispers (Sniffer, Sheepbeast, Spiderkids). They come from real doors of the level, where nobody is standing.
Creature screams (Spider Mother, Sheepbeast, Boomer) while your vision pulses dark.
A red REANIMAL mask flickering at the edge of your sight.
REANIMAL concept art and chapter paintings briefly replacing what you see.
Your field of view breathing in and out.
At Nightmare, the island takes over: concept art fades in over everything while something screams.
What you need
Ready or Not. Melty installs UE4SS and the mod.
REANIMAL on Steam. On the first start, Nightmare Raid reads its sounds and art from your installed copy (about 15 seconds, roughly 40 MB in your local app data). Nothing is downloaded, and no game files are included.
If REANIMAL isn't installed, the mod tells you in game. Install it, and the next start picks it up.
Single player only.
