Your Nightfarer, voiced by the Hidden Leaf. Night of the Shinobi plays real battle voice lines from NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS while you play ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN.
What happens
Skill — your Nightfarer shouts a jutsu line the moment the skill starts.
Ultimate — a full awakening shout when the ultimate actually fires.
Dodge, jump, attack, flask — shorter lines (the small ones are random, so it is not a shout every time).
Getting hit and going down — pain lines, bigger for bigger hits, and a defeat cry when you are downed.
Different Nightfarer classes get different Storm Connections fighters, picked automatically (or pick one yourself in config.ini). Lines are only played when the game really does the action: a skill on cooldown or a dodge without stamina stays quiet.
What you need
ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN and NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS, both installed (Steam). The voices are read from your Storm Connections install while you play — nothing from either game is included or copied.
Windows.
Good to know
Solo and offline for now: the mod starts Nightreign through ModEngine 3 without online services, so there is no online co-op in this version.
It plays on its own save slot (NS0000.sl2, a copy of your save the first time); your normal NR0000.sl2 is never touched.
Settings live in %LOCALAPPDATA%\NightOfTheShinobi\config.ini: volume, language (Japanese first, then English and the others), which fighter speaks, how talkative the small stuff is, and a switch per trigger.
The ultimate shout uses the same detection as the skill; ultimates could not be fully exercised in Melty's automated test (the gauge cannot be filled there), so tell us if one stays silent.
Ships with ModEngine 3 (MIT / Apache-2.0, unmodified). Not affiliated with FromSoftware, Bandai Namco or the NARUTO franchise owners; all game audio stays in your own installs.
