Mindustry Serpulo rammed into Factorio's world. There 8 increasingly difficult sectors to play on, with waves of Mindustries enemies coming in to try and destroy your core.
Build a bowl of spaghetti, make a "defence," capture a sector by feeding the required items into the core and conquer all 8 maps to unlock the special sandbox map.
What's in it
-8maps: 2x scaled versions of each Mindustry map, edited so that you have access to the items you need at all times to not softlock yourself.
- Defend the Core: Each sector includes enemies ported in from Mindustry, including ground, air and naval units. All military turrets and defences use Mindustry's supply chains and turrets.
- Capture by production: Deliver increasingly advanced factorio items to the core to capture it.
- Mindustry production: mechanical, pneumatic and laser drills, Graphite Press, Silicon Smelter, Kiln, Pulverizer, Pyratite and Blast Mixers, Plastanium Compressor, Oil and Water Extractors, Combustion Generator, Mender, Mend Projector and Overdrive Projector and a few others iirc.
- Two Mindustry science packs and their research tree; titanium as new ore today and thorium coming to a patch sometime in the future.
- Launch Pads (three tiers) are the only way to move items between sectors. Travelling clears your inventory.
- A sandbox planet with every resource and no enemies once Facility 32M is captured.
You need
- Factorio 2.0 (Space Age works too).
- Mindustry on Steam. Nothing from Mindustry is shipped; everything is read from your copy each time you play. (Itch.io version will not work).
The first Play takes about a minute while your Mindustry content is converted. Then start a new Freeplay game to land on Ground Zero. This is a beta and single player only.
The mod is in BETA as I still haven't finished what I would call the Extreme Mindustry science pack which would include, Thorium, Surge Alloy, Phase Fabric, the remaining turrets, more sectors, player built units and much more.
