Loveless in Risk of Rain

Play Risk of Rain 2 as Loveless the Hacker from Borderlands 4. Her model, hair and face, her skill icons, her portrait and her voice lines are read from your own Borderlands 4 the first time the game starts. Nothing from Borderlands 4 is in the download.

Her kit

• RAM (passive, her BL4 trait): crits, Contagion and kills fill RAM. Every 10% gives +4% damage; at full RAM your next Sidearm shot overclocks for 600% damage, pierces and spreads Contagion.
• Sidearm (primary): hacked rounds for 110% damage.
• Plague Star (secondary): BL4's shuriken pierces a whole line for 350% and infects everything with 3 Contagion. Contagion eats away over time and jumps to up to 3 nearby enemies when its host dies.
• Visual Paradox Nexus (utility): cloak and dash, leaving a hologram decoy of Loveless that pulls aggro for 4 seconds, then detonates for 400%.
• Malignant Construct (special): summon her viral Wyrm for 12 seconds; it hunts, bites for 250% and spreads Contagion.

Her BL4 executables (new in 0.2.0, Loadout tab)

• Detonate: blow up every Contagion on every enemy, 150% per stack.
• replicat.exe: three shurikens orbit you, cutting enemies; press again to throw them.
• engag.exe: throw the Kusarigama at an enemy: 350% damage, full RAM, and it yanks you to them.
• accelerat.exe: an Acceleration Gate: your next 3 shots deal +200% and pierce.
• nuk.exe: the Wyrm opens a singularity on your target that pulls enemies in, then explodes for 800%.
• enrag.exe: a Rampant Wyrm latches onto one enemy and savages it.

Plus her own BL4 voice lines on skills, Contagion kills, full RAM, level-ups, chests and stage arrival (with a Voice volume setting in the BepInEx config).

Good to know

• Needs Borderlands 4 with Loveless the Hacker (Story Pack 2) installed on the same PC (Steam or Epic).
• The first launch reads Loveless from Borderlands 4 in the background: her model in about half a minute, her voice about a minute later (needs internet once for the Oodle decompressor). Until her model is in she looks like Commando. It re-reads automatically when Borderlands 4 updates.
• Solo play.
