Leon in Lordran remix

A remix of Leon in Lordran by Godot: play Dark Souls: Remastered as Leon S. Kennedy, with RE4's guns, sounds, HUD and Tune Up upgrades, all built from your own Resident Evil 4 (2005) install.

What's different in this remix

On some PCs the original couldn't read its Resident Evil 4 files: the player turned invisible and there was no HUD at all. That happens when RE4 has the RE4 HD Project installed, or keeps some files compressed and others not. This remix fixes that:

• Leon's body, face, hair and guns are built again on those installs, so you see Leon instead of nothing.
• The RE4 HUD (life ring with heart monitor, ammo counter, First Aid Spray) appears again. RE4 HD Project's sharper HUD textures are scaled to the sizes the mod expects.
• The bonfire's RE4 Upgrades (Tune Up) screen loads again instead of falling back to the normal Level Up.
• Leon's RE4 animations load on those installs too.

Stock RE4 installs play exactly like the original. Godot's mod is included unchanged; this remix adds a small piece in front of it that helps it find the files.

Solo and offline: when the game offers to retry the server log-in, choose Cancel.
