You play BLACK SOULS II as normal, but Harry's skills from Disco Elysium have come along in Grimm's head.
What it adds
All 24 skills, from Logic to Composure, with their own names, descriptions, lines and voice acting, read from your Disco Elysium every time you press Play. Nothing from either game is in the download.
Passive checks. After BLACK SOULS II's own text boxes, a skill that hears something it cares about (a corpse, a locked door, an ambush, a joke) cuts in with one of its Disco Elysium lines, coloured by attribute and voiced where Disco Elysium voices it.
White checks. Some BLACK SOULS II choices gain an extra [Skill - Difficulty N] option. Pick it to roll 2d6 + your skill, Disco Elysium style. A pass pays out Souls. Either way your original choices come back, so the story is never blocked.
Your background is your archetype. Knight, Thief, Sorcerer, Cleric and Warrior each set different Intellect, Psyche, Fysique and Motorics, and your skills grow as Grimm levels up.
The opening whisper. The first time you can move in a new story, Inland Empire speaks.
Needs BLACK SOULS II and Disco Elysium (The Final Cut), both installed. Single player. The first Play takes a few extra seconds while the skills are read from Disco Elysium.
Made with Claude (Anthropic). BLACK SOULS II by Eeny, meeny, miny, moe?; Disco Elysium by ZA/UM. Disco Elysium's files are read with UnityPy, and its audio is decoded with FMOD (Firelight Technologies).
