Inkwell Heroes

Become a Cuphead hero in Terraria. When you make a character, Terraria's hair, clothes and colours are replaced by Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice, and your hero plays with their real animations, read straight from your own copy of Cuphead.

What you can do

• Finger-gun Peashooter (hold F): shots fly exactly where your mouse cursor points. Terraria weapons and tools still work on the mouse buttons, so you can mine, build and fight the Terraria way too.
• Dash (X) and parry: press Jump again in mid-air to parry. A hit during the parry is cancelled, bounces you up and fills a Super card.
• Ms. Chalice gets her double jump, and her dash is a dash parry.
• Super meter: five cards, filled by hitting enemies and parrying. G spends a card on an EX Mega Blast, or all five on a Super: Cuphead and Mugman's Energy Beam, or Ms. Chalice's feather-storm Super Art I.
• Real Cuphead animations: idle, run, jump, duck, dash, parry, shooting, getting hit, EX and Supers.

New in 0.2.0: it sounds and feels like Cuphead

• Cuphead's own sound effects for the Peashooter, hits, EX, Supers, dash, parry, Ms. Chalice's double jump, jumping, landing, getting hurt and dying.
• READY? WALLOP! fills the screen, announcer and all, when a Terraria boss fight starts. A KNOCKOUT! plays when the last part of the boss falls (not when it runs away).
• Cuphead boss themes for Terraria bosses. Terraria's music comes back when the fight ends.

• Pink parries: about one enemy projectile in four comes out pink. Parry into it to pop it and fill a Super card, with no hit needed. Parrying a hit still works on anything.

Getting stronger Your Cuphead moves power up every time you beat a Terraria boss. No crafting or grinding needed, just keep progressing your world:

The Peashooter fires about 8 shots a second. The Supers hit everything they touch about 10 times a second (Energy Beam: everything in a long line; Feather Storm: everything around Ms. Chalice). Tip: parry often, since each parry fills a whole Super card.

You need Terraria (1.4.5) and Cuphead on Steam. Ms. Chalice also needs The Delicious Last Course. Without it she's greyed out in the picker.

Solo. Your existing Terraria characters play exactly as before. Make a new character to pick a hero.

Cuphead and its characters, art, sounds and music belong to StudioMDHR, and Terraria belongs to Re-Logic. Neither game's files are included: the mod reads them from your own installs.
