I Know a Guy meets Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies. Everything from Black Ops II (zombies, hellhounds, guns, perk machines, the Mystery Box, sounds, the announcer) is read from your own copy of BO2 the first time you play.
Zombie nights
At 8 PM BO2 rounds start in Hobarey Town. Night 1 is 5 rounds and each later night adds 5. The clock holds until you clear the night, then dawn breaks and your BO2 points are paid into your I Know a Guy money (1,000 points = $100).
TranZit zombies climb out of the ground and chase you, following BO2's own round rules for count, health and speed. They follow you into buildings, too.
Going down sends you to I Know a Guy's hospital, and you lose that night's points.
Endless mode (F8)
Press F8 at any hour for endless BO2 waves, and press F8 again to stop and cash out.
Rounds 5, 15, 25, 35 and 45 are hellhound rounds: BO2's hellhounds strike down in lightning, and the last one drops a Max Ammo.
Guns you keep
BO2 guns with their real view models, animations, damage, clips and reload times.
Your guns stay with you between nights (two at a time, as in BO2). Each one sits in your hotbar with its BO2 icon. Select its slot to take it out, by day or by night.
Right mouse aims down the sights, V knifes with BO2's knife, R reloads, Y switches guns, E buys.
Around town
Wall buys (M14, Olympia, MP5, AK74u, R870 MCS) hang flush on the town's outside walls.
Jugger-Nog, Speed Cola (on The Hobarey Depot), Quick Revive and Stamin-Up machines play their jingles.
The Mystery Box sits in the bar.
Max Ammo, Insta-Kill, Double Points and Kaboom drops, with BO2's announcer.
You play as BO2's TranZit reporter, and the BO2 HUD shows the round tallies, points and perks.
Single player. Needs I Know a Guy and Call of Duty: Black Ops II (with Zombies) on Steam.
