Mr. Peterson got into Aperture. Play Portal's own test chambers as usual, but from chamber 01 on, the Neighbor from Hello Neighbor walks in a few seconds after each chamber starts, and he's after you.
What happens
- The real Neighbor in Portal: his model, textures and animations (spotting you, running, looking around, grabbing) are rebuilt on your PC from your own Hello Neighbor install.
- Hello Neighbor's chase music, voice and footsteps play while he hunts you, also read from your copy of the game.
- He follows your exact path, and through your portals too. Shoot a new portal to cut him off: he stops, searches, and later finds another way round.
- If he catches you, he grabs you, the screen goes black, and you're back at the start of the chamber. The puzzle stays as it was.
- He hunts you in chambers 01–19, the advanced chambers, and the escape all the way to GLaDOS's door. Take the elevator and he lets you go.
- Single player.
You need
- Portal (Melty installs and starts it).
- Hello Neighbor installed through Steam on the same PC. If it's missing, Portal still runs and tells you in game that the Neighbor can't get in.
The first start takes about 5–10 seconds while the Neighbor is converted from your Hello Neighbor files. No game files from either game are in this download.
