Heavy Rain: Dark Presence

You're playing Heavy Rain, until the Dark Presence comes through from Bright Falls.

At Heavy Rain's tensest moments, Alan Wake's darkness possesses the scene:

• Heavy Rain freezes mid-scene. Nothing you do in the Possession reaches the game, so you won't fail a prompt.
• Real Alan Wake footage takes over the screen, played from your own Alan Wake install: Alan raving on the TV, Night Springs, and the game's cinematics with their own sound.
• Fight it with light. Mash any key, click, or any controller button or RT to fill the flashlight meter and burn the darkness away with Alan Wake's flash-out. Heavy Rain picks up exactly where it stopped.
• The first Possession hits 1–2 minutes in. After that the darkness watches for moments where you're hammering Heavy Rain's prompts, and comes back every few minutes at most.

Single player. Needs Heavy Rain (PC) and the original Alan Wake (PC), both installed. Melty starts the mashup beside Heavy Rain and points it at both games. No game files are included: every clip is read from your own copy of Alan Wake.
