The original Xbox Halo: Combat Evolved as a native Windows game: the whole campaign and multiplayer, at your display's resolution, with mouse and keyboard or a controller.
Your own disc: Melty finds your Halo disc image (an .iso or .xiso, loose or in a .7z or .zip) on your PC and readies it on the first Play. Any version works; European discs play like North American ones.
Multiplayer: system link games for up to 128 players, with Linux and Android players in the same game. An invite link lets friends join over the internet; no server is needed.
Built from the Halo decompilation of Xbox build 2342 (bnunu/halo-1, from punpckhdq/halo), ported to Windows, Linux and Android by cybersecurity/halo-ce-universal. Bink movies are skipped. Not affiliated with Microsoft, Xbox Game Studios, Halo Studios or Bungie.
