EXPERIMENTAL: this is an installable development candidate, not the finished requested mod. Exact appearance/proportions, exact in-game height, a pre-damage shield, collision-safe leap and stable gameplay have not been achieved or verified. Read BUILD_VALIDATION.json before testing.
This ZIP contains a Skyrim SE ESP (22 new records; no NPC record changes), six compiled Papyrus scripts plus their source, third-person body and first-person arm NIF meshes, the supplied model's full-resolution 8192x8192 diffuse and 4096x4096 normal textures converted to DDS with mipmaps, a synthesized distorted croak, and a self-contained launcher. No SKSE is required. Source/Untitled9.blend is an untouched byte-for-byte copy of the supplied master; the original download was not modified. It is included for preservation and is not used by Skyrim at runtime.
The player-only controller configures base health 698,808, a separate scripted shield pool of 6,000, stamina 10,000,000, and 700 direct scripted health damage for each registered fist hit. Native fist damage is suppressed. Essential/protected quest actors retain game restrictions. These are configured values, not measured gameplay results.
Critical healing triggers below 15% HP and requests 50% of maximum health per second until full. After five seconds without detected damage, ordinary healing requests 0.1% of maximum health per second; the shield requests 2% of capacity per second. This timing is subject to the game's script scheduler.
Terrifying Screech plays the distorted croak and attempts three seconds of stagger on nearby hostile actors with line of sight. Predator Leap attempts a jump of up to about 15 feet toward a hostile target and a 700-damage hit on landing within reach. Night Hunter runs from 20:00 to 06:00: movement speed x1.5, requested attack speed x1.35, aggression actor value 3, and shorter power cooldowns (Screech 8s vs 12s; Leap 4s vs 6s). The player remains under your control.
The runtime body uses the existing shortened humanoid retarget and lower polygon count. Its shape differs visibly from the original. The shader also differs from Blender. No global skeleton or animation files are replaced.
Use melty.json when preparing an experimental Melty listing. Data/ maps to the installed Skyrim Data folder; Launcher/ and Licenses/ map to Melty's managed folder. Source/ is an authoring asset, excluded from installation. Melty package inspection is recorded in MELTY_PACKAGE_CHECK.json. Inspection verifies packaging, not gameplay, and does not make this a finished or published release.
The launcher receives --game-dir followed by the detected Skyrim installation folder. It enables FrogPredator_SE.esp in the Microsoft Store profile and starts the installed SkyrimSE.exe. Its profile-preservation self-test passed; actual game launch via this helper is unverified.
For a mod manager, install Data/ contents and enable FrogPredator_SE.esp. Game Pass uses the Skyrim Special Edition MS profile. Do not install this candidate over an active older Frog Predator save: revert/shut down the old transformation first, or use a separate clean test save. This task did not change the existing game installation or save files.
Open Magic > Powers to select Terrifying Screech, Predator Leap, Status, or Revert / Transform; activate with your normal Shout/Power button. If startup does not run, the Skyrim console command is cqf F9PlayerControllerQuest Wake. Before removal, revert and run cqf F9PlayerControllerQuest Shutdown, then use a save from before installation. Existing stat and scale values are stored for reversion when activation occurs in this build.
The shield restores damage after the hit and cannot prevent fatal damage. Leap has no collision sweep. Weapon use is corrected by scripted unequipping rather than an engine-level prohibition. The height setting assumes a neutral base scale and is not race-calibrated. Exact original proportions, all animations, clipping, damage, powers and stability remain unverified. Use BUILD_VALIDATION.json for the complete findings and next work.
