Five new worlds for the Adventure in Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, five levels each, on new tombstones beside Day, Night, Pool, Fog and Roof. The last one ends in a boss fight, every plant in the game gets a special ability, the whole Adventure gets much harder, and the mini-games get harder still.
- New in 0.8.0: super-hard mini-games. Every game on the Mini-games menu (Wall-nut Bowling, Slot Machine, Whack a Zombie, Last Stand, Pogo Party, Dr. Zomboss's Revenge and the rest, all but Zombiquarium) and the Adventure's own mini-game levels (Wall-nut Bowling in 1-5, Whack a Zombie in 2-5, Big Trouble Little Zombie in 3-5, Vasebreaker in 4-5) are played on super-hard rules: every regular zombie brings a twin, zombies have three times their health, half of them come as custom zombies from any of the ten worlds with their tricks (Sprinters, Medics, Phantoms, Juggernauts, Trolls and the rest), and your plants come up as their custom plants with their special abilities.
- The Imp Bomber and its Bomb Imp. A cherry-red Gargantuar carrying a cherry-red Imp. Hurt it past half its health and it throws its Imp over your plants, as the game's Gargantuar does, but this one is a Bomb Imp: where it lands it blows up the plants on that square and on every square around it, like a Cherry Bomb going off, and then keeps on coming. It comes in all of Worlds 7, 8 and 9, in 6-4, 6-5 and 10-2 to 10-4, and in the Adventure's own 3-9, 4-9, 4-10 and 5-6 to 5-9, and each of those levels brings at least one with every flag wave.
- World 6, Moonlit Roof: the game's own night roof. Mushrooms are awake, no sun falls from the sky, and Bungees, Ladders and Catapults come over the tiles.
- World 7, Double Pool: the backyard with water in the top two and bottom two lanes and dry lanes down the middle, so swimmers come from both sides, while Almanac Zombies and Disco Kings take the dry lanes.
- World 8, Foggy Roof: fog rolls over the roof. Bring pots, Planterns and Blovers against Balloons, Bungees and Disco Kings.
- World 9, Four Worlds: one lawn with Day, Pool, Night and Fog lanes at once. Each lane sends its own world's zombies, and the graves in the night lane open at every flag.
- World 10, The End: the night front yard. No sun falls, graves open at every flag, and three in four zombies come as custom zombies from any world. 10-4 brings Zombotany zombies and the Giga-gargantuar.
- 10-5, the final boss: the Giant Newspaper Zombie. A Newspaper Zombie as tall as the whole lawn stands at the back, like Dr. Zomboss, with 100,000 health. Every 10 seconds it is painted with a different texture from the game (the lawn, plants, other zombies), and every 11 seconds it calls up a random crowd of 8 zombies, the game's own and the custom ones mixed. Plants in every lane can hit it; wear its health down to win. 10-5 starts with 2,000 sun.
- Every plant has a special ability. All 49 of the game's plants come up with a new colour and a trick of its own, in every Adventure level of all ten worlds and in the mini-games (not the first four tutorial levels, the Adventure's Dr. Zomboss fight in 5-10 or Zombiquarium):
- Day plants: Ember Pea (Peashooter) shoots a fireball every few seconds; Four-Leaf Sunflower (Sunflower) makes extra sun; Mega Cherry (Cherry Bomb) blasts twice as far; Bubble-nut (Wall-nut) is twice as tough and bounces biters back a square; Quick Mine (Potato Mine) arms in about a second; Frost Pea (Snow Pea) freezes the first zombie in its lane solid every few seconds; Grim Chomper (Chomper) chews its meal three times as fast; Prism-peater (Repeater) also shoots into the lanes above and below it.
- Night plants: Star Puff (Puff-shroom) shoots stars down its whole lane; Moon-shroom (Sun-shroom) wakes the mushrooms around it and gives extra sun; Dusk-shroom (Fume-shroom) chills the zombies its fumes reach; Grave Eater (Grave Buster) gives 50 sun for every grave it eats; Hypno Cloud (Hypno-shroom) turns the two zombies nearest the one that ate it too; Spooky-shroom (Scaredy-shroom) scares close zombies back a square; Frostbite-shroom (Ice-shroom) freezes everything and hurts it too; Clean Doom (Doom-shroom) leaves no crater.
- Pool plants: Splash Lily (Lily Pad) splashes and slows swimmers; Comeback Squash (Squash) grows back after it squashes, up to two more times; Fivepeater (Threepeater) also shoots into the lanes two above and two below; Tide Kelp (Tangle Kelp) grows back once after pulling a zombie under; Ghost Pepper (Jalapeno) burns its lane and the lanes beside it; Root Spike (Spikeweed) holds the zombies standing on it in place; Blazewood (Torchwood) scorches the zombies in front of it; Last Stand (Tall-nut) is three times as tough and chills the zombies biting it.
- Fog plants: Coral-shroom (Sea-shroom) is awake in the day, twice as tough, and slows the swimmers its spores reach; Lighthouse (Plantern) flashes and hurts the zombies around it; Needle Cactus (Cactus) pops flying zombies in its lane and the lanes beside it; Gale Clover (Blover) also blows every zombie on the lawn back a square; Twin-Fire Pea (Split Pea) shoots fireballs from both heads; Sea Star (Starfruit) hurts every swimmer in its lane and the lanes beside it; Hearth Pumpkin (Pumpkin) is twice as tough and mends the plant inside it; Super Magnet (Magnet-shroom) recharges three times as fast.
- Roof plants: Comet-pult (Cabbage-pult) throws a flaming comet every few seconds; Lunar Pot (Flower Pot) mends the plant growing in it; Butter-pult (Kernel-pult) butters the first zombie in its lane every few seconds; Moon Bean (Coffee Bean) wakes every mushroom in its lane; Stink Garlic (Garlic) hurts the zombies that bite it; Healing Leaf (Umbrella Leaf) mends the plants around it; Sun Marigold (Marigold) drops sun too; Thunder Melon (Melon-pult) strikes the toughest zombie in its lane with lightning.
- Upgrades: Gatling Fire (Gatling Pea) fires a burst of fireballs; Sunbeam Twin (Twin Sunflower) beams the first zombie in its lane; Frost Gloom (Gloom-shroom) chills the zombies around it; Twin-Tail (Cattail) shoots two spikes at a time; Blizzard Melon (Winter Melon) freezes every zombie in its lane solid every so often; Sun Magnet (Gold Magnet) picks up the sun on the lawn for you; Iron Thorn (Spikerock) hurts the zombies on and around it; Rapid Cob (Cob Cannon) reloads twice as fast; Mirror Imitater (Imitater) makes its copy twice as tough.
- Three Catapult Zombies. The green Melon Catapult (Moonlit Roof) splashes the plants next to the one each ball hits; the icy Frost Catapult (Foggy Roof) freezes the plant each ball hits, so it can't shoot for a few seconds; the orange Rapid Catapult (the Adventure's own Roof levels, and The End) throws twice as fast and carries twice as many basketballs.
- Faster Almanac Zombie: tear away its Almanac and it now runs five times as fast as an angry Newspaper Zombie, across the lawn in a couple of seconds.
- 36 custom zombies, in every world: each is one of the game's own zombies with a new colour, size and toughness, and a trick of its own. They turn up in the waves of all ten worlds (in worlds 1-5, in every regular level after the first four tutorial levels; not the boss) and in the mini-games:
- Day: Sun Snatcher steals your sun, Sprinter runs, Medic heals the zombies around it.
- Night: Gravedigger digs new graves, Necromancer calls up zombies, Jammer stops your plants shooting for a while.
- Pool: Shark swims fast, Heater thaws frozen zombies, Splitter falls into two small zombies.
- Fog: Snuffer puts out Planterns and Torchwoods, Phantom fades and can't be hurt while faded, Hopper jumps lanes.
- Roof: Roofer smashes flower pots, Spitter hurts plants from afar, Boomer blows up the plants around it when it falls, Rapid Catapult throws twice as fast.
- Moonlit Roof: Moonwalker puts awake mushrooms back to sleep, Blinker blinks forward, Troll grows back, Melon Catapult splashes plants.
- Double Pool: Lifeguard pulls Lily Pads under, Drummer hurries the zombies around it, Frogman hops between water lanes, Almanac Zombie runs five times as fast as an angry Newspaper Zombie once its Almanac is gone, Disco King dances with twice as many Backup Dancers, Imp Bomber throws a Bomb Imp that blows up the plants where it lands.
- Foggy Roof: Bannerman gives nearby zombies extra health, Glutton eats plants fast, Berserker charges when hurt, Chimney Sweep smashes pots, Frost Catapult freezes plants.
- Four Worlds: Warlock calls up zombies, Juggernaut is huge and very tough, Wraith fades, Gravekeeper digs graves in the night lane, Tidecaller speeds up swimmers.
- Even harder Adventure: almost every zombie a wave sends brings a twin, zombies have twice their health, custom zombies come half again as often, and Bucketheads arrive earlier in worlds 1-5.
World 6 is open from the start; each later world opens once the one before it is won. Every plant can be picked in the new worlds, unlocked or not. Beating 10-5 takes you back to the main menu. Single player.
Everything you see and hear (lawns, plants, zombies, sounds) comes from your own copy of the game.
