DL2 Breach — GMod × Dying Light 2

Prototype v0.1.0

Primary host: Garry's Mod. Companion: Dying Light 2 Stay Human - Reloaded Edition.

This package contains only original Lua/scripts and design sheets. It does NOT contain Dying Light 2 proprietary models, textures, sounds, maps, executables, or other game files.

Current playable prototype

• GMod loads the addon from garrysmod/addons/dl2_breach.
• A HUD identifies the mashup.
• dl2_breach_node is an interactive breach entity.
• dl2_breach_ping tests the GMod-side bridge signal.
• The design sheets record the companion relationship and unfinished bridge.

Important

This is SOURCE/PROTOTYPE work, not a publish-ready Melty release yet. The missing piece is a tested local companion bridge that can launch/observe the player's installed DL2 and exchange a real gameplay signal with GMod. That must be implemented and tested before claiming that the mashup is a one-click, fully connected mashup.

Install locally

Copy the garrysmod folder contents into your Garry's Mod installation. The final Melty package should target the GMod addon location instead of modifying core game files.
