About
Geometry Dash portals open in your Terraria world. Walk into one and your own Terraria character runs a real
Geometry Dash main level: the level, its blocks, spikes, colours and song come from your own Geometry Dash.
What you get
Geometry Dash portals open near you every few minutes in your Terraria world (the first one a minute after you join).
Walk into a portal to play one of Geometry Dash's 22 main levels, from Stereo Madness to Dash, read from your own
Geometry Dash install: its real blocks, spikes, orbs, pads, portals, colour changes and moving parts, with the
level's own song.
You play as your Terraria character, in Geometry Dash's modes: cube, ship, ball, UFO, wave, robot, spider and swing.
In the ship, ball, UFO, wave and swing you ride Geometry Dash's own vehicle.
Your Terraria gear still works: spikes and crashes cost Terraria health (your defense counts) instead of killing you
instantly; wings let you flap in the air, Cloud/Sandstorm/Blizzard/Fart/Tsunami bottles give extra air jumps, a
grappling hook pulls you up to blocks, Featherfall softens your fall. Running out of life is a real Terraria death.
Harder levels unlock as your world progresses: Easy and Normal from the start, Hard after any boss, Harder after
Skeletron, Insane in Hardmode, Demon after a mechanical boss. Portals offer the next level you haven't beaten.
Beat a level for Terraria loot that scales with its difficulty (coins, potions, crates, accessories, souls, Life
Fruit); every Geometry Dash secret coin you grab pays Terraria gold coins (platinum on Demon levels). Crash past
50% and you still get half the coins.
Multiplayer (up to 255 players, Terraria's own limit): one player uses Host & Play; friends start Dash Portals
and use Multiplayer > Join via Steam (or Join via IP). Portals open for everyone, anyone can step into one, a
friend who joins later still sees open portals, and you see "Dashing: Polargeist 43%" over friends who are in a
level. Everyone in the game needs Dash Portals; a plain vanilla server works too.
Levels run at 75% of Geometry Dash's speed by default, song included, so they're easier to read. Press - or +
during a level to pick anything from 50% to full speed; your choice is remembered.
Controls: click, Space or W to jump; your Grapple key for the hook; - / + for speed; Esc to leave a level.
Needs
Terraria 1.4.5 or newer (Steam). Dash Portals starts your own Terraria; Terraria.exe is never changed.
Geometry Dash (Steam), installed on the same PC. Its levels, songs and sprites are read from your copy while you
play; none of them are included in this download.
