Play your own Dragonborn, but fight like Kliff. CrimsonRim brings Crimson Desert's combat into Skyrim Special Edition, with Crimson Desert's own moves, timings, animations and sounds read from your installed copy of Crimson Desert Enhanced while you play.
What you get
- Kliff's 3-hit combo: attack, attack, attack, re-timed to Crimson Desert's rhythm, with stagger on hit
- Heavy finisher: hold attack (power attack)
- Timed parry: block just before a hit lands to cancel the damage
- Kliff's paired grab: grab an enemy and hold them as a human shield. Walk and turn with them, then:
- grab key again: shove
- attack: body slam
- hold attack: spin throw
- they wriggle free after 10 seconds
- Crimson Desert's own swing, hit, parry, grab and throw sounds
Controls
- Attack: light combo; hold for the heavy finisher
- Block just before a hit: parry
- G: grab the enemy in front of you; G again: shove
- While holding: WASD walks, mouse turns, attack slams, hold attack spin-throws
Requirements
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. Tested on 1.7.104 (current Steam version); other versions are untested.
- Crimson Desert Enhanced (Steam). CrimsonRim finds it through Steam by itself. Without it, the game tells you on screen and plays without Crimson Desert's content.
No files from either game are included: everything comes from your own installs.
Settings
CrimsonRim.ini in your Skyrim folder (created on first start): grab key, hold time, grab range, throw force, mouse turn speed, combo reset time, volume. If you change the grab key to C, unbind Skyrim's Auto-Move.
Known limits
- Gamepad sticks while holding someone are untested.
- Solo only.
