Chitterwings are small flying insects that hunt in packs of 4–6.
You hear them first. In the campaign a pack sometimes ticks quietly from a pipe across the room, then pours out and comes for you.
Pack hunting. They share one target, circle it on a rotating ring and lunge in one at a time. Thin the pack and the survivors scatter.
Weak alone, deadly together. One spear or rock kills a Chitterwing; one bite stuns you, three quick pack bites kill.
Their own look and sound. Buzzing wings, snapping mandibles, eyes that glow when they hunt, and a soft, low ticking call that stays in the background like the game's own wildlife.
Arena sandbox. Chitterwings are unlocked from the start, so you can drop a swarm into any sandbox match.
Single player only. This mod has no online or network play.
Needs Rain World v1.11.8 (Downpour not required). Press Play: Melty installs the mod, switches it on in Rain World's mod list and starts the game.
