Play eight League of Legends champions inside Minecraft, and survive the Black Mist on Summoner's Rift with
friends. Champion models, animations, ability icons, sounds, voice lines, Yorick's undead, the Rift bosses,
turrets, wards, item icons and the announcer are all read from your own League of Legends install, so nothing
from League ships with the mod.
Champions
Champion select when you join a world, with League portraits. Your player becomes that champion, with League's
model, textures and animations (idle, run, basic attacks even at air, every ability, Recall, being knocked down).
Abilities have League icons and League-like cooldowns (basic abilities a few seconds, ultimates about half a
minute) and no mana cost, so basic attacks and dodging matter: ranged champions fire a visible bolt with left-click,
melee champions hit whatever is in front of them. Fights take several hits: champions have League-style health
pools shown as a League health bar, both on screen and above everyone's head.
- Yasuo: Steel Tempest (two hits charge it; the third throws a Gathering Storm tornado that knocks up), Wind Wall, Sweeping Blade, Last Breath (on knocked-up enemies).
- Lux: Light Binding, Prismatic Barrier, Lucent Singularity (press again to detonate), Final Spark (a rainbow laser about half the Rift long).
- Darius: Decimate, Crippling Strike, Apprehend, Noxian Guillotine (resets on a kill), Hemorrhage bleed.
- Ahri: Orb of Deception (out and back), Fox-Fire (homing wisps), Charm, Spirit Rush (three dashes). Heals from ability hits.
- Jinx: Switcheroo! (rocket basic attacks), Zap!, Flame Chompers! (traps), Super Mega Death Rocket! (flies until it hits something, more damage to the wounded). Speed boost on kills.
- Garen: Decisive Strike (silences), Courage, Judgment (spin to win), Demacian Justice. Regenerates out of combat.
- Thresh: Death Sentence (hook, press again to leap to them), Dark Passage (shields), Flay, The Box. Heals from souls.
- Ezreal: Mystic Shot (cuts cooldowns on hit), Essence Flux (mark and detonate), Arcane Shift (blink and bolt), Trueshot Barrage (crosses the whole map).
League sound effects and voice lines for every champion, and coloured effects for every ability and basic attack.
Hold left-click to keep attacking (once a second). Champions play in third person. Summoner spells: Flash (G) and
Recall (B) with the champion's Recall animation. Darius's Hemorrhage bleeds harder with each stack; at 5 stacks
Noxian Might makes the Guillotine deal maximum damage, and a Guillotine kill resets it for another.
Rift Survival (League zombies)
Press Play Rift Survival on the title screen: a world with nothing in it but a floating Summoner's Rift, built from
your League files in a few seconds (lanes, a forest jungle, river, pits, turrets, inhibitors, both nexuses and
fountains, lit by lanterns hanging from the trees). Pick your champion and the game starts; when it ends, a rematch
starts by itself. Friends who join are put on a team.
- Two teams, Blue and Red (
/rift team blue|red before starting, or teams are balanced for you). Each starts at its fountain and defends its nexus.
- Hordes of Yorick's undead: Mist Walkers, Maidens of the Mist from round 3, Voidgrub swarms from round 6. They rise around each team and go for whichever is closer, a champion or a nexus. Every round there are more of them, and they grow tougher and bigger. Stragglers come back to the fight, and the last few of a round glow so you can find them.
- Boss rounds every 5 rounds: everyone is pulled back to their fountain and a League boss wakes in its pit, with its own animations. You get a Dragon (Infernal, Cloud or Ocean), then the Rift Herald, then Baron Nashor, then the Elder Dragon. The team that does the most damage gets the buff (dragon stacks and Dragon Soul, Eye of the Herald turns on every turret, Hand of Baron, Aspect of the Elder) plus a free legendary item of your choice for everyone on the team.
- League items instead of wall guns: pick your own from 41 League items in the shop (P), with League's icons and a pop-up showing what each one gives (+health, +attack damage, ability power, ability haste for shorter cooldowns, speed, life steal...). Buy anywhere between rounds, at your fountain during a round, or at the WALL BUY signs by the jungle camps. Up to 6 items. Gold comes from hits, kills and surviving rounds. The Hextech Chest at each fountain gives a random item, sometimes a legendary.
- Turrets you buy: League's turrets stand dormant (labelled with their price) until your team pays gold to switch them on with a right-click. Then they fire at the Mist and enemy champions. Destroyed turrets can be bought back.
- Downed, not dead: at zero health you go down, and a teammate holds Shift next to you to revive you. If you're alone you get three self-revives. The other team can finish you off. If everyone falls, the game ends.
- Points: for undead, bosses, turrets and enemy champions. When a nexus falls the game ends and the team with the most points wins.
- Health relics sometimes drop from the undead.
- Minimap (bottom right): the Rift, you, your team, your turrets and nexus, and whatever your team and wards can see. Wards (Y), League's Stealth Wards, give your team vision for two minutes, up to 3 each.
- The League announcer calls Welcome to Summoner's Rift, First Blood, multikills, Aces, nexus under attack and dragon kills.
Playing together
Open your world to LAN and friends join through a free relay (e4mc) from anywhere, not just your home network.
Each friend picks their own champion. Up to 8 players.
