Celeste ZERO

Play Celeste as Zero from Katana ZERO, while Bennett Foddy from Getting Over It comments on every fall.

Zero takes Madeline's place on the mountain, with his own sprites, sounds and soundtrack read from your Katana ZERO install. Bennett Foddy's narration comes from your Getting Over It install.

What you get

• Zero replaces Madeline. He uses his real Katana ZERO animations: idle, run, jump, fall, wall-grab, roll and flip.
• Your dash is a katana slash. It plays Zero's slash arc and swing sounds and cuts through crystal spinners, dust bunnies, seekers, Badeline chasers and bumpers.
• Chronos slow-motion. Hold Left Shift / Left Trigger to slow time while Katana ZERO's battery meter drains. The music bends down while it's active.
• "NO, THAT WON'T WORK." Every death plays Katana ZERO's VHS rewind: the tape frame, scanlines and Zero running backwards through his last moments.
• Katana ZERO soundtrack. Each Celeste chapter gets its own track: Chinatown, Bunker, Silhouette, Third District, Rooftop, Katana ZERO and more.
• Bennett Foddy on (almost) every death. His real Getting Over It lines, plus one when you start a chapter and when you finish a chapter or grab a crystal heart.

Single-player. Works across all Celeste chapters, and options let you turn the music or Foddy off.
