The snax have landed on Reach. Strabbies, Fryders, Shishkabugs and Bungers pour out of the Covenant drop-pod points on Halo: Reach's Firefight map Beachhead, and you hold the line with Reach's own MA37 Assault Rifle. Endless waves, each bigger, faster and tougher than the last.
Both games, really in it
- From your Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Halo: Reach): Beachhead itself (its geometry, textures and props), its drop-pod, health-pack and resupply markers, the Assault Rifle's model, the HUD reticle, the rifle and shield sounds, and the Firefight announcer.
- From your Bugsnax (Steam): the snax themselves, with their models, skeletons, walk animations, textures, names and voices, plus Bugsnax's beach boss music.
Nothing from either game is in the download: it reads your own installs every time it starts.
What you do
- First-person Firefight: WASD, mouse aim, click to fire, R to reload, Space to jump.
- Strabby swarms and weaves, Fryder and Shishkabug chase you down, Bunger charges.
- Reach-style shields that recharge, health packs at Beachhead's health cabinets, ammo at the resupply capsules, and a full refill between waves.
- Score per snak plus a wave bonus; your best score is kept.
Needs
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection with Halo: Reach installed.
- Bugsnax installed through Steam (the game tells you on screen if it's missing).
- Single player. Windows. Free.
