A Brotato × Bloons TD 6 mashup. Monkey towers replace Brotato's turrets and you upgrade them in the arena the way BTD6 does, while the waves are real bloons that pop layer by layer into MOABs.
You need both games installed. Brotato is the game this installs into. Bloons TD 6 is never launched or modified — the mod finds your own copy when it runs and reads its real sprites, names, descriptions and upgrade trees straight out of it. Nothing of Bloons TD 6's content ships with this mod; every player brings their own.
Monkey towers, upgraded the BTD6 way
- Nine towers replace Brotato's turrets — Dart Monkey, Boomerang Monkey, Bomb Shooter, Tack Shooter, Ice Monkey, Glue Gunner, Sniper Monkey, Ninja Monkey and Super Monkey. Brotato's own turrets step aside; the monkeys are what the shop sells.
- Upgrade one in the arena. Click a monkey — or press Tab, or a shoulder button on a pad — and the run pauses while a panel opens on that tower's three BTD6 paths: the real upgrade name and description from your own Bloons TD 6, the price, and whether the path is open.
- The whole tree: 135 upgrades. All three paths to tier 5 for every tower, under BTD6's own names. Dart Monkey → Sharp Shots → Razor Sharp Shots → Spike-o-pult → Juggernaut → Ultra-Juggernaut. Super Monkey → Laser Blasts → Plasma Blasts → Sun Avatar → Sun Temple → True Sun God.
- BTD6's crosspath rule. One path may reach tier 5, a second only tier 2, and the third must stay at 0 — so the path you commit to matters. Closed paths tell you why.
- Upgrades change what a tower can pop. Enhanced Eyesight and Ultravision grant camo detection; Red Hot Rangs, Ring of Fire and Plasma Blasts push a sharp tower through Lead.
- Every tower you own keeps its own upgrades, and one bought mid-wave applies to the tower standing in the arena straight away.
The rest of the run
- Four BTD6 heroes in character select — Quincy, Gwendolin, Obyn Greenfoot and Captain Churchill, with their real names and portraits, each starting with their own monkey in hand.
- Real bloons instead of aliens, drawn with BTD6's own sprites: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, Black, White, Lead, Zebra, Rainbow, Ceramic, MOAB and BFB.
- They pop the way they should. Every bloon splits into its real children, so one Ceramic becomes a swarm — a Rainbow into two Zebras, each Zebra into a Black and a White, each of those into two Pinks.
- Lead and Camo matter. Sharp shots bounce off Lead. Camo bloons can't be touched at all without detection — from the Ninja Monkey, from the right upgrades, or from Obyn, who sees camo from the start.
- MOABs and a BFB. MOAB-class arrive at wave 15, and the BFB is the wave 20 boss: 700 hits before it bursts into four MOABs.
Twenty waves, single player.
First launch
The first time you play, the mod spends about five seconds reading your Bloons TD 6 install and caching what it needs. Every launch after that takes about 35 milliseconds. If Bloons TD 6 isn't installed, the mod says so in the game instead of failing.
Honest limit: BTD6's tier 4 and 5 upgrades are often unique abilities — Super Monkey Fan Club, Ray of Doom, The Bloon Solver — that cannot be expressed as stat changes. They carry their real name and description but behave as a strong stat upgrade.
