Alma Comes to Black Mesa

Play the whole Black Mesa campaign as Gordon Freeman, except the Resonance Cascade woke something else up.

What F.E.A.R. 3 brings in (played straight from your own F.E.A.R. 3 install while you play, never copied):

• Alma haunts the facility. Every minute or two the lights stutter and die, and you hear Alma laughing, screaming, whispering or appearing, or one of F.E.A.R.'s music stingers. Some hauntings black out the screen and shake the camera.
• Reflex slow-mo. Press X to slow time F.E.A.R.-style for 6 seconds, with F.E.A.R. 3's real slow-mo sounds and an amber tint, then clear the room of HECU soldiers. It recharges in 12 seconds, and F.E.A.R.'s own glitch sound tells you it's ready.

Needs: Black Mesa and F.E.A.R. 3, both installed. Solo.

Notes: the mashup turns on Black Mesa's cheat setting so slow-mo works. A small companion program runs beside the game and closes with it.
