Escape a crypt of Dungeon Lords maps while Alien: Isolation's xenomorph hunts you by light and noise. 007's gadgets, Dark Souls' Estus.
Withdrawn. This mashup is no longer being worked on and its creator has asked that nobody use or remix it. It is left up only because Melty has no delete or unpublish control - see the Discord at the bottom of the left sidebar if you need it removed. The description below is the original text, kept for the record.
You are a captured 00X agent. You have to get out of a crypt, and something in the dark has already noticed you.
Agent 00X is a mashup of four games, and every one of them is really in it - read out of your own installed copies each time it starts. Nothing from any of them is in the download.
DistanceEffect bounds, weighted with how exposed you are. Its cone is drawn on the floor in front of it and its tier is named from the game's own list - Peripheral, Normal, Focused, Close. Its 7 attack chains and 20 behaviour states come out of ALIEN_ATTACK_DATA.TXT and ALIEN_BEHAVE.XML.npccode scripts are what the monsters and traps are made of, and each chamber's track is one of its own 15.GADGET_GLEAMING_LIGHTER, GADGET_SKIN_RAZOR, ...) read from its reflection table.| | |
|---|---|
| WASD | move |
| mouse (hold a button) | look |
| Shift | sprint - fast, loud, very visible |
| C / Ctrl | crouch - quiet, low, hard to see |
| 1-5 | gadgets |
| E | drink Estus |
| B | rest at the bonfire |
| N | next chamber, once it is clear |

Exposure and noise are the two numbers. Sprinting costs stamina and gives you away. The Gleaming Lighter shows you the way and gives you away at the same time. The Noise Suppressor buys you seconds. The Dartgun pulls the xenomorph to where it lands - which is either the worst thing or the best thing you can do, depending on whether you are behind a wall.
One player. About 10 to 20 minutes a run. You win by reaching the extraction point in Deadlight Town, the last chamber.
| Game | Role | Read at launch |
|---|---|---|
| 007 First Light | primary | the gadget system's own names and skin ids |
| Dark Souls: Remastered | companion | 51 paramdef tables, and its text out of the .dcx bundles |
| Alien: Isolation | found in your Steam library | view cones, tiers, attack chains, behaviour states |
| Dungeon Lords Steam Edition | found in your Steam library | maps, npc scripts, music |
Your game folders are never written to. If Alien: Isolation or Dungeon Lords is not installed, the first screen says so and the run continues on the values already read from your other copies.
