You are a Vault Dweller waking up in Navezgane. Vault 28 has opened. Grab your Pip-Boy and step out into 7 Days to Die's zombie wasteland, with Fallout 76's character system, cards, art, sounds and music, read from your own Fallout 76 install.
What you get
- Reclamation Day. A new character wakes up in Vault 28, built in the pine forest near the middle of the map. A Pip-Boy and a Vault 28 Jumpsuit wait by the table, and the Overseer's and Security terminals tell the vault's own story.
- Phosphorescent UI and your very own Pip-Boy with STAT, PERKS, DRAFT, DATA and RADIO tabs, in Fallout style.
- N.U.C.L.E.A.R. stats. Notice, Understand, Charisma, Luck, Endurance, Agility and Rigor replace 7DTD's attributes.
- 150+ perk cards! Draft one of three at each level-up, equip them where there's room, and swap them at a bed. Bonus Perk Card Packs come from loot and trader quests.
- Legendary perks from level 50! Earn perk coins by running trader quests and recycling extra perk cards. These legendary perks let you improve your attributes post-cap and unlock special abilities like like Action!, Awareness, Barbarian, or Seven Demon Bags.
- Legendary enemies! About 1 in 250 is legendary: tougher, gold-glowing, it mutates when hurt, and it gets you special loot drops!
- The radio. Radio KZL plays the hottest music of yesteryear, Navezgane Public Radio is the county's classical station. Play it from your Pip-Boy (P to play or pause), or craft a Radio or a glowing Jukebox for your base. Every player hears the same song at the same moment, and the dead don't care about rock & roll.
- RobCo terminals that boot and type out like Fallout's.
- Crafting changes. The Workbench needs no skill, gear parts can be crafted and scrapped, and scrapping teaches your crafting skills. No equipping perk cards to craft or hoping for the right magazine to spawn!
Important
Do not take this mod onto public EAC servers; only run it with friends diretly.
Do not load existing saves with this mod running; this mod cannot combine with them.
Requirements
- 7 Days to Die (V 3.3, Steam). Melty starts it without EasyAntiCheat, which mods need. - Fallout 76 installed on the same PC. It's never started or changed: the mod reads its cards, art, models, fonts, sounds and music from your copy. Nothing from Fallout 76 ships with the mod.
- Windows. Start a new game: Reclamation Day happens for new characters.
Playing together
Up to 8 players. Each has their own stats, cards and Pip-Boy, and every new arrival starts in Vault 28. Co-op hasn't been fully tested yet.
Join through the game: the host starts or continues a game with Server Visibility set to Friends (Play Game → Multiplayer tab). Friends choose Join a Game and pick it from the list. Everyone needs this mod and Fallout 76 installed.
Known Bugs
- Rare chance for Vault 28 to fail to spawn - The mod will attempt to spawn Vault 28 into the world for about 2 minutes, looking to pass certain checks (not in water, not off the map, not in a toxic biome, not in the middle of an existing POI, etc). If it does not spawn, the mod will notify you and the necessary items will drop at your feet.
- Card effect duplication - Some perk cards have duplicate effects.
Changes with 0.0.3
- Better logging of quit action.
