Hunt giant monsters in Minecraft with Monster Hunter style weapons. Everything is original: models, textures, animations and sounds are made for this mod, in a chunky-model-meets-Minecraft-pixels look.
They roam the overworld in rare spots, or you call one with a Hunt Signal (craftable). Every monster has a boss health bar, enrages under 40% health, and can be pinned down with Shock and Pitfall Traps.
Each comes in an iron version and a monster version (fire, blast or bleed). Blades lose sharpness as you hit; sharpen with a Whetstone.
Scales, claws, shells and gems drop from the monsters. Craft a full armor set per monster with a set bonus, and upgrade weapons into their monster versions.
Potions, Mega Potions, Whetstones, traps, and a Palico cat companion that fights beside you and patches you up (Palico Whistle).
