A Broken Arrow PvE scenario where the enemy is a Warhammer III Greenskin horde, solo.
What you play
- Hold a village on the Black Coast map with your starting garrison: Guards motor-rifle squads, BMP-2s and T-72B3 tanks.
- Five waves pour over the hills. Each one is a real Greenskin unit from your own Total War: WARHAMMER III: Goblins (Spears), Orc Boyz, Goblin Wolf Riders, Black Orcs (Great Weapons) and an Orc Warboss.
- On wave 5 the Warboss calls a WAAAGH! and every Greenskin charges at once. Kill the Warboss and clear the village to win. If they hold the village with none of your units in it, you lose.
Warhammer III in Broken Arrow
- Names and lore are read from your Warhammer III install and announced as each wave arrives.
- Stats drive the horde:
- Unit size sets how many squads come.
- Morale decides when a unit breaks and flees, then rallies.
- Armour soaks part of every hit.
- Charge bonus decides who charges.
- The Warboss regenerates.
- War cries are mixed from Warhammer III's own voice lines: Goblin and Orc charge yells, the Warboss's roar and the Big Waaagh. They play as each wave hits.
Broken Arrow draws its own models, so the Greenskins appear as Russian stand-ins (BARS volunteers, Motostrelki, Tigr cars, assault engineers, a T-90M Warboss). Warhammer III's music is encrypted by Creative Assembly and isn't used.
