Launch Super Meat Boy and chapter 1 is now Geometry Dash: 20 stages cut from Stereo Madness, Back On Track and Polargeist, built from your own Geometry Dash install each time the game starts.
What you do
Play as Meat Boy with his own controls: run, sprint, jump and wall-jump at your own pace. Nothing scrolls you forward.
Reach Bandage Girl at the end of each stage and race the clock, as in Super Meat Boy.
Hunt Geometry Dash's secret coins. Each one is a bandage: take it, finish the stage alive, and it counts in Super Meat Boy's own bandage total.
What Geometry Dash brings
Its level layouts, secret routes included, with its blocks, spikes, pads, orbs, portals, coins and backgrounds in each level's colours.
Spikes kill, with Super Meat Boy's own death, blood and instant respawn.
Yellow jump pads launch Meat Boy. Yellow orbs give a second jump when you press jump inside them.
Blue gravity pads and gravity portals flip him onto the ceiling, upside down, and back.
Ship portals put him in Geometry Dash's ship: hold jump to rise, release to sink, until the next cube portal.
Orbs, pads and portals pulse and the coins turn through Geometry Dash's own frames.
Each level's own song plays while you are in its stages.
Good to know
Solo. You need Super Meat Boy (Steam, v1.2.5) and Geometry Dash (Steam). Nothing from either game is in the download: the mod reads Geometry Dash's files from your own install.
Your real Super Meat Boy save is not touched. The mashup keeps its own save.
While it is installed, chapter 1 of Super Meat Boy shows these stages instead of The Forest. Removing the mashup brings The Forest back.
Slabs are full blocks, and the pulse of orbs and pads is not synced to the song. Super Meat Boy's chapter 1 tutorial pop-ups and boss are still its own.
Unofficial fan mod. Super Meat Boy is by Team Meat; Geometry Dash is by RobTop Games. Uses stb_image by Sean Barrett (public domain).
