Steve has fallen into Hell. ULTRASTEVE puts you in ULTRAKILL's levels as Minecraft's Steve instead of V1.
What you get
Minecraft movement. Walk, sprint (double-tap W or hold Ctrl), sneak (Shift) and jump like Steve, scaled to fit ULTRAKILL's levels. You also get a double jump and up to 3 wall jumps. V1's dash, slide and slam are gone.
A Minecraft hotbar instead of V1's guns. Swing a sword with Minecraft's sweep, draw a bow, fire a crossbow, and throw a trident that flies back to you. Keys 1-4 or the mouse wheel pick an item. Weapons are balanced against ULTRAKILL's own, and hits still earn style points. Swords, arrows and tridents also break glass and breakable props, so every level can be finished.
Shield and trident hand. Parry (F) raises a Minecraft shield in Steve's left hand. The whiplash (R) is Steve throwing a trident with his left hand, and it hooks and pulls just like V1's.
Blocks. Cobblestone, oak planks and dirt (slots 5-7, 64 of each). Right click places a block and left click breaks one you placed. Build bridges and stairs; enemies can't walk through them.
Gear that grows as you progress. You start with a wooden sword, a bow and leather armor. Clearing the Prelude gives stone, Limbo gives iron and the crossbow, Act I gives diamond and the trident, and Wrath gives netherite. Armor cuts the damage you take, from 8% for leather up to 40% for netherite.
Minecraft's look. Held items and hands follow Minecraft's own first-person poses, and a hotbar, hearts and an armor bar replace V1's HUD. Blood still heals you, as in ULTRAKILL.
ULTRASTEVE main menu with the logo in Minecraft's font and Steve, drawn from your own skin, in place of V1.
Sandbox works. The Spawner Arm is Steve's tool in slot 9.
Uses your own games. ULTRASTEVE reads Steve's items, blocks, HUD art, font and sounds from your own Minecraft: Java Edition install (1.16 or newer) every time it runs. Nothing from Minecraft is included in the download. Single player.
