Swing through LEGO Gotham as Spider-Man. While playing as Batman, press F6 (PS5 controller: L3 + R3) to become LEGO Spider-Man, from any Batman suit, and press it again to get your own suit back.

IMPORTANT: Spider-Man only works once Batman is unlocked and playable. It will not work as young Bruce Wayne or as Bruce Wayne in the early training sections.

Web swing: hold Q / R2 to shoot a web at the nearest building ahead and swing from it, Spider-Man-game style. Momentum carries you forward, you hang from the web by the hand on the anchor's side, and letting go flings you on. Web launch: R / R1 launches you 2.5x higher than a jump, straight from the street, so you can start swinging from the ground. Web shots: right mouse / L2 fires short white web bolts the way Spidey faces. They snap to nearby enemies (hit reaction and damage) and smash breakable objects like Batman's batarangs. White, softly glowing webs that stay visible in Gotham's dark streets. Spider-Man Remastered's own sound: web-shooter sounds, Spidey's voice lines and the traversal music while swinging, read from your copy of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. Spidey everywhere: the main menu figure, menu logo, HUD portrait and the startup splash.

Jim Gordon and the other characters keep their own look; Spidey belongs to Batman.

While Spidey is on, Batman's gadgets, grapple and glide are switched off so they don't fire alongside the web moves; they come back when you switch to Batman.

GOOD TO KNOW Single-player. Needs LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on the same PC; Melty installs everything else, including the UE4SS mod loader. Batman must be unlocked and playable: Spider-Man does not work as young Bruce Wayne or as Bruce Wayne in the training sections. Play on until Batman is unlocked, then press F6 / L3 + R3. The mod never edits your saves. It replaces the startup splash with a Spider-Man one (the original is kept next to it as Splash_Batman_original.bmp).
