Black Myth Sora (Barely Works)

Play Black Myth: Wukong as Sora from KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX — his real model, Kingdom Key, animations, HUD and save points, read from your own KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX install while you play. Black Myth's combat runs underneath, so every hit, dodge and enemy reaction is the game's own.

What you get

• Sora instead of Wukong — KH2's Sora model, Kingdom Key and Oathkeeper, and KH2 motions for idle, walk, run, jump, falling, landing and getting hit.
• KH2 moveset on Black Myth's combat — the ground combo with its finisher, aerial attacks, Dodge Roll, Guard (G) and Reaction Commands (Z) when an enemy is nearly beaten.
• KH2 HUD — HP and MP gauges, Drive gauge, command menu and damage numbers drawn from KH2's own HUD art; it steps aside when Black Myth's menus open.
• KH2 save points — every Keeper's Shrine becomes a KH2 save point; resting, saving and respawning work as usual.
• Valor Form (X) — KH2's Valor outfit and moveset with two Keyblades and a damage boost, unlocked once Black Bear Guai falls (on reaching Chapter 2). Land hits to fill the Drive gauge.
• AP and abilities — defeated enemies give AP; equip Scan, Guard, Dodge Roll, Combo Plus, Aerial Sweep and Reaction Command (K to pick, L to equip). J switches Keyblades.

Requirements

Black Myth: Wukong and KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX (Epic or Steam) installed. Nothing from Kingdom Hearts is in the download: the first Play reads Sora from your copy (about a minute).

This version

Solo. Valor is the first Drive Form; Wisdom, Limit, Master and Final come with later bosses. Characters use rigid joints and KH2's flat shading. No magic, summons or party members.

Help finish it

This is a barely functional first version — remixes are open and the whole design lives in data sheets you can extend. Up for grabs: Wisdom, Limit, Master and Final Forms (their KH2 models and movesets are already readable), smooth skinning instead of rigid joints, lit shading, magic, KH2 music and sounds, and the full ability and equipment lists. Remix it and take it further.
