A Slime Rancher mashup: you play Slime Rancher on the Far, Far Range, moving with Delta Demo's real
strafe-jump physics and building your ranch out of real Minecraft: Java Edition blocks and food.
What you get
Delta's movement, read from your own Delta Demo. Delta's CPM-style player physics (ground friction and
acceleration, air-strafing, bunny-hopping, CPM air control, Delta's gravity and jump), ported step for step
from Delta's own movement code. Every tuning value is read from your installed copy of Delta Demo at launch.
It's on when a game loads; F6 switches between Delta movement and Slime Rancher's own.
A Delta speedometer, drawn in Delta's own HUD font (VCR OSD Mono, read from your Delta files). It shows
your speed in Delta units: 520 is full running speed, and anything higher comes from strafe-jumping.
Minecraft blocks you build with. 16 blocks (grass, dirt, stone, cobblestone, oak planks and logs, glass,
sand, bricks, stone bricks, glowstone, 5 wool colours) with textures from your own Minecraft jar. They're real
vacpack items: suck them up, store them in silos, and shoot them. A shot block snaps into a 1 m grid where it
lands, so you can build walls, towers and parkour lines. Glowstone lights up. Hold the vac on a placed block to
pull it back out.
Minecraft food slimes eat. Apple, carrot, potato, melon slice, sweet berries, cookie, bread and golden
apple, shown as Minecraft-style pixel models. Fruit and veggie slimes eat them and make plorts. Every slime
loves golden apples (double plorts).
A creative Minecraft chest next to your ranch house, using Minecraft's chest model and texture. Look at it
and press E to pick any block or food, then hold the vac on it for an endless supply.
Your builds and dropped Minecraft items are saved with your game, in a separate file beside the save, so your
Slime Rancher saves stay clean.
Minecraft's own block, glass, eating and chest sounds.
Single player (Slime Rancher has no multiplayer).
Games you need
Slime Rancher (Steam): the game you play. This mod runs on BepInEx 5, which comes bundled.
Delta Demo (free on Steam): must be installed. Its movement values and HUD font are read from it.
Minecraft: Java Edition: you need to own it. Textures and sounds come from your launcher's game files. If
the launcher hasn't downloaded your newest version yet, the mod fetches that version's files from Mojang the
same way the official launcher does.
No game's content is included in this mod. Everything is read from your own installs into
%LOCALAPPDATA%\SlimeDeltaCraft\cache when the game starts.
