Rocket League car soccer, played inside Minecraft
Rocket League car soccer in a block-built stadium, played inside Minecraft.
You drive a blocky rocket car around a stadium built out of concrete and wool, chase a big ball into the goals and fight the clock. It plays in 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3, and you pick the format in the Rocket League menu on the title screen.
The match
Rocket League's own audio, from your own copy of Rocket League
The crowd, the goal horn and explosion, the engine, the boost and the match music are Rocket League's own sounds, decoded on your PC from your own Rocket League install the first time you play. Nothing from Rocket League is shipped with this, and Rocket League is never launched or modified, so Easy Anti-Cheat and your account are never involved.
You need Rocket League for the audio. Melty's game list only recognises Steam copies of Rocket League, and Psyonix has unlisted Rocket League from the Steam store, so Melty cannot offer it or find it for you. The mod looks for Rocket League itself: it checks your Epic Games install, your Steam libraries, and the RLMC_RL_DIR folder variable. If it finds one you get Rocket League's real sounds; if it does not, the match still plays and the bottom-left corner says where it looked.
Playing with friends
Open to LAN from the pause menu and share the address that appears at the top of the screen. Melty also gives every player a join link that drops them straight into your match.
Controls
W drive, S brake and reverse, A D steer, Shift boost, Space jump and again to double jump or flip, B ball cam.
