Just Cause 2's grapple, parachute and C4 in Fallout 4 — from your own copy of both games.
Just Cause 2's grappling hook, parachute and C4 — inside Fallout 4, built from your own copy of both games.
You stay in the Commonwealth. Rico Rodriguez's three signature tools come in and become how you get around and fight:
It isn't a look-alike. When you press Play, Rico's Gear reads your own installed Just Cause 2 and brings its real content into Fallout 4: the actual grapple, parachute and C4 models and textures, the real gear sounds (hook fire, wire twang, reel, chute flap, C4 click and blast), and Rico's own voice lines with subtitles — "Hey, chew on this!", "Time to use the chute!", "Hehehehe." — pulled straight from Just Cause 2's dialogue.
Nothing from either game ships with the mod. Every player brings their own Fallout 4 and Just Cause 2, and the mod reads them on your PC.
No script extender, no mod manager, no extra downloads — Rico's Gear is self-contained and loads itself into Fallout 4 when you press Play. Play from a save made after you leave Vault 111.
Z grapple · Jump (in the air) parachute · Sneak to close the chute · G throw C4 · T detonate. Rebindable in RicoGear.ini.
