RaptureCraft

Explore BioShock Remastered’s original solo campaign with Steve’s block arms, a Minecraft diamond sword at the normal wrench pickup, and Minecraft zombie appearances for Toasty splicers.

This first release changes appearances. BioShock’s story, plasmids, attacks, enemy AI and sounds remain in use. Mining, crafting, block placement and Minecraft zombie AI are not included.

Requires your own installed BioShock Remastered (tested Steam build 8552765) and Minecraft Java Edition with compatible installed vanilla game files. The launcher reads the real Minecraft textures locally and creates replacements only in memory. BioShock is the host and the only game window; no game content is bundled or written into another game’s folder.

Press Play in Melty: it installs the included launcher and supplies both game folders automatically. Use BioShock’s normal campaign and controls. Close the game and uninstall through Melty to remove the mod. Use stock host assets; older disk replacements and other asset hooks may conflict. Runtime diagnostics are in RaptureCraft’s melty.log in its configured local app-data folder.

Original code: MIT; remixes allowed. Created for the signed-in creator with Codex. Tools and runtimes: universal-modder (rehan-remade contributors), MinHook (Tsuda Kageyu), CPython, NumPy, Pillow and PyInstaller; their licenses are included. BioShock belongs to 2K, Minecraft to Mojang/Microsoft.

Melty installed the actual upload and passed two separate three-minute runs, with 2:10 and 1:55 active play. Install, launch, crash, response, picture and loader-error checks passed. Melty cannot automatically inspect this custom hook’s loaded code; its DLL was verified inside BioShock and the replacements were inspected in genuine gameplay screenshots. Local checks also covered movement, native sword attacks, breaking a progression lock, Electro Bolt and loading Welcome to Rapture/Medical Pavilion. The complete campaign and every enemy animation are not verified.
