Bring Peppino into Cuphead boss fights, solo or in two-player local co-op.
How to join Cuphead has no online play of its own: its co-op is 2 players on one PC. Steam Remote Play Together, started from the Steam overlay, lets a friend join the host's game from theirs.
Play as Peppino in Cuphead, solo or with a second player on the same PC. Requires your own installed Windows Steam copies of Cuphead and Pizza Tower. Cuphead is the host; Pizza Tower supplies Peppino's real sprite animations, read from your own data.win on first launch. No original game artwork, sound, levels or game assemblies are included.
Melty installs the bundled BepInEx loader, plugin and separate asset reader, then launches Cuphead. Wait for sprite preparation on first launch, enter a level, and press F8 to use Peppino as player one. Use Cuphead's normal second-controller join prompt for two-player local co-op. There is no network host, server, address or online join support in this build.
Close Cuphead before installation. This package does not contain or run the old interactive updater. Saves are not modified by the plugin. Loader files are shared with other BepInEx mods, so an existing modified loader installation should be preserved or backed up before replacing it.
Developed against Cuphead Windows Steam build 20241530 (Unity 2017.4.9f1, x64) and Pizza Tower Steam build 16727860. Other versions and Chromebook/Linux compatibility have not been verified. The creator reports testing 0.2.1's gameplay, flight changes and two-player local co-op. Release preparation independently checks startup logs, fresh read-only sprite extraction, archive contents and Melty's install recipe; these are distinct from the creator's gameplay testing.
