Minecraft blocks inside your PAYDAY 3 heists. A Minecraft hotbar sits at the bottom of the screen, and every block, icon, letter, mob and sound comes from your own Minecraft: Java Edition.
What you can do
- Build cover: pick Cobblestone, Oak Planks, Obsidian or TNT with 3–6 and press V to place it on a 1 m grid where you're looking. Wall off a doorway or stack cover in seconds. NPCs can't walk through your blocks.
- Mine your way in: pick the Iron Pickaxe with 7 and hold V. Blocks crack like in Minecraft and go back to your hotbar. Walls, window glass, doors and panels can be dug out too (bigger walls take longer), so you can break into the bank without touching a door. Every wall gives you cobblestone.
- TNT: place TNT, pick Flint and Steel with 8 and press V on it. It flashes, hisses and blows away the blocks and walls right around it, sets off other TNT, and throws cops and civilians back.
- Nether portals: build an obsidian frame (inside at least 2 wide and 3 tall) and light it with Flint and Steel. It fills with Minecraft's swirling portal. Build two and step into one to come out of the other.
- Mobs on your side: zombies and creepers come through lit portals and go after the cops, guards and civilians, never the heisters. Zombies hit, throw and stun them; creepers hiss, swell and explode. They have health: your shots and the cops' shots can kill them.
- Drops: a dead mob leaves a real PAYDAY 3 ammo box and a Minecraft golden apple (+10 health).
- Cops shoot your blocks apart: enemy fire that hits a block cracks it. Planks go fast, cobblestone holds a while, and obsidian holds out the longest.
- Minecraft's own place, dig, fuse, explosion, portal and mob sounds.
You start each heist with 32 cobblestone, 32 planks, 15 obsidian and 4 TNT. Mining gives blocks back.
Playing together (up to 4)
Get into the same heist through PAYDAY 3's own lobby or invites. Everyone running PaydayCraft then joins one Steam lobby for that heist automatically and sees the same blocks, holes, TNT and portals (each player's game runs its own mobs). The host's game decides what really stops bullets and bodies.

- Minecraft: Java Edition, started at least once so its game files are downloaded. Nothing from either game is included: PaydayCraft reads your own copies while you play.
