Come ashore on your Minecraft beach and parry one fiend. Gustave is read from Expedition 33; Yuna and Besaid from Final Fantasy X.
You wash ashore on a beach made from your own Minecraft blocks. Gustave is already there, read from your copy of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Yuna stands beside him, and the village carries the name Besaid, both read from your copy of FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster.
A fiend lunges. Press Space, or click, while the mark sits on the gold stroke. Land the parry and the road inland opens. D walks inland. A walks back toward the water.
This first shore is solo. It stops once that road is open. The crossing, the ruined city, overdrives, gear, and music are not in this version.
You need Minecraft: Java Edition, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster installed. Nothing from those games is included in the download; the shore reads them from your installs when you press Play.
Eclipse Temurin 17 is included so you don't install Java yourself (GPL-2.0 with the Classpath Exception). The Final Fantasy archive reader follows the public VBF layout from the vbf-fs project.
