About
Murkoff has a new payroll department. Every trial you survive in The Outlast Trials pays out in your own LEGO® Batman™: The Videogame save.
What you get
Studs for every trial. 2,000 studs per minute survived, paid into your LEGO Batman save.
Squad bonus. Trials played with a squad (2–4 players, through The Outlast Trials' own co-op) pay ×1.5. Squadmates who also have the mashup each get paid into their own save.
A villain for each program. The first time you finish a program, it unlocks one of Gotham's villains in LEGO Batman, plus a 50,000-stud bonus:
Orphanage → Scarecrow
Police Station → Bane
Television Studio → The Joker
Payroll panel. A small corner panel shows the trial you're in, what LEGO Batman owes you, and your unlocked roster. Right-click it to close it.
How it works
Press Play and The Outlast Trials starts as normal, with the payroll running alongside it.
The Outlast Trials is never modified. The mashup only reads the log file the game already writes on your PC, so Easy Anti-Cheat and online play are untouched.
Pay goes into your newest LEGO Batman save the moment LEGO Batman is closed. The save is backed up first (to %LOCALAPPDATA%\MurkoffPayroll\backup), and its checksum is checked before and fixed after every write.
Villains are looked up in your own copy of LEGO Batman's character list. No game files are included.
Before you play
You need both games on Steam.
Your LEGO Batman save has to exist: finish its first level once.
The payroll is an unsigned program. PCs with Windows Smart App Control turned on will block it.
