Put any picture on your portrait in World of Warcraft Forever: a photo of you, your dog, or a screenshot from another game.
How it plays
- Press Play: WoW Forever starts through the Battle.net app, already signed in.
- Drop a picture (PNG, JPG, BMP or GIF) into Pictures\Mirror Portraits. The one you added last is used. The folder opens for you on your first Play, and a picture you drop in while you play comes in too.
- To find the folder again, click the Mirror Portraits icon by the Windows clock, or the Picture folder button in your profile, which shows the path to copy.
- Your portrait: the picture replaces your WoW portrait on your player frame and your character sheet, and on your target frame when you target yourself. Frame my portrait lets you drag and zoom the round framing.
- Your profile: type /mp to open a panel with the whole picture, your name and a short title (like "the Good Boy").
- Seen by other players: anyone else with Mirror Portraits sees your name and title in your tooltip (through your guild, your group, or when they mouse over you). Only the text is shared; your picture stays on your screen.
What you need: World of Warcraft Forever (_classic_beta_) and the Battle.net app. Without Battle.net, WoW opens on its own login screen instead. It works on your normal realms, alone or in groups.
Commands: /mp, /mp name, /mp title, /mp portrait on|off, /mp folder, /mp refresh, /mp reset.
