BlockRealm drops Minecraft building into Skyrim. Mine the world, carry the blocks, and build wherever you like in Tamriel.
The blocks use the real textures from your own Minecraft: Java Edition. Nothing from Minecraft is shipped with the mod: a small helper reads them from your copy the first time you press Play.
What you do
- Mine. You get a Mine spell. Aim at the ground for dirt, a tree for oak logs, a rock for cobblestone, or an ore vein for ore blocks. Trees, rocks and veins disappear when you mine them.
- Build. Blocks sit in your Skyrim inventory under Scrolls. Favorite them, hotkey them 1-8, aim and cast to place one. Blocks snap to a grid, are solid (stand on them, wall things in) and stay in your save.
- Craft. The Craft Blocks power turns logs into planks, planks into torches, a chest or a bed, cobblestone into a furnace, stone into stone bricks.
- Use working blocks. Torches give light. The chest stores your Skyrim items. The furnace smelts cobblestone into stone and ore blocks into Skyrim ingots. Use a bed, then the Return to Bed power takes you back to it.
- Take blocks back. Activate a block, or hit it with Mine, to pick it up again.
Blocks in this version
Dirt, Cobblestone, Stone, Stone Bricks, Oak Log, Oak Planks, Iron Ore, Gold Ore, Copper Ore, Diamond Ore, Torch, Chest, Furnace, Bed.
Good to know
- Single player.
- You need Skyrim Special Edition (PC, Xbox app version) and Minecraft: Java Edition with at least one version downloaded in its launcher.
- The Mine spell and the two powers appear in your Magic menu a few seconds after you load a save or start a new game.
- The Xbox app version of Skyrim opens Bethesda's launcher first: click Play there.
- You can't dig into the ground itself, and there are no Minecraft sounds yet.
- Blocks you placed are saved with your game. Removing the mod later removes them.

Built with PyNifly (BadDogSkyrim) for the block models and Caprica (Orvid) for the scripts; neither is shipped. Minecraft is Mojang's, Skyrim is Bethesda's; this is a fan mod and ships none of their content.
